Start where you are
You do not need to create a perfect learning session. A quiet moment together can include talking, singing, or sharing a book. Notice whether your baby is settled and ready to engage.
An original practice to try
Choose one ordinary moment today. Describe what you are doing in a few words, then pause. If your baby makes a sound, respond. If they seem tired or fussy, take a break.
Reflect without scoring yourself
Later, ask yourself what you noticed. Was there a moment of shared attention? What made a pause possible? These are reflection prompts, not a developmental assessment.
TAKE ONE THING WITH YOU
Notice your baby and leave room for a pause.
